Book through the form on this website or by phone, and we call back to confirm the date. Small jobs, such as an oil change, a bulb or reading fault codes, we often do on the spot. Larger repairs need an appointment so that we have a free bay and the parts on order.

Describe the fault as precisely as you can

A good description shortens diagnostics. Before you come, note down:

  • When it happens: with a cold or warm engine, at what speed, when braking, turning or accelerating.
  • Since when: right after a repair, after refuelling, after a frost, or whether it built up gradually.
  • What you see and hear: take a photo of the warning lights on the dashboard and record any unusual sound on your phone.
  • Whether it is constant: faults that appear every few days are the hardest to catch, so every detail helps.

What to bring

  • The registration certificate. The VIN lets us match the right parts to your exact car.
  • The service history and receipts from earlier repairs, if you have them. Then we can see what has already been replaced.
  • The key for the locking wheel bolts, if the car has them. Without it we cannot take a wheel off for brakes, suspension or tyres.

Diagnostics and quote

First we check the car and run computer diagnostics. On VAG group cars we use VCDS with official SFD unlock, so we also service models from after 2020. We explain the result in plain language and show you the fault in photos and videos.

Diagnostics is charged according to the price list. The repair quote itself is free. Before any work starts, you get a detailed quote and confirm the scope. If the repair is not worth it, we tell you so.

During the repair

Sometimes the work turns up something extra. Then we call you, describe what we found and agree the next steps before doing anything.

Collection and payment

You pay by cash or bank transfer. We do not have a card terminal. We issue a VAT invoice for every service.

Repairs and fitted parts come with a 24-month warranty. You get the terms in writing with the invoice when you collect the car.
